As a Swimming Pool Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of the swimming pool facilities at our resort in Wayanad. Your role involves ensuring the proper functioning of pool equipment, maintaining water quality, and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of guests using the pool area. This position requires technical expertise in pool maintenance, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a clean and enjoyable swimming experience for guests. Responsibilities: Pool Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the swimming pool and surrounding areas to identify maintenance needs, cleanliness issues, and safety hazards. Perform regular cleaning, vacuuming, and skimming of the pool to remove debris, leaves, and other contaminants. Monitor water levels and chemistry parameters (pH, chlorine levels, alkalinity) and adjust as necessary to maintain proper water balance and sanitation. Equipment Inspection and Repair: Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders, to ensure proper functioning and efficiency. Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubricating moving parts, replacing worn-out components, and repairing leaks or damage. Chemical Handling and Testing: Handle pool chemicals safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions and industry best practices. Conduct regular water tests using pool testing kits or electronic meters to monitor chemical levels and water quality parameters.
