Responsibilities: Driving: Operate company vehicles, such as vans or trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Follow scheduled routes and delivery instructions provided by the supervisor or dispatcher. Ensure the safe and lawful operation of the vehicle, including adherence to traffic rules and regulations. Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods onto/from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging. Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against delivery documents and report any discrepancies to the supervisor. Packing: Pack items for shipment according to packing instructions and safety guidelines. Use appropriate packing materials, such as boxes, bubble wrap, and padding, to protect fragile or valuable items during transit. Inventory Management: Maintain inventory records of goods received, transported, and delivered. Update inventory systems or paperwork to track stock levels and movement of goods. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on company vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any vehicle defects, malfunctions, or damage to the supervisor for repairs or maintenance.
