As a Hardware Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware components and peripherals. Conduct hardware inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of computer hardware components, spare parts, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for repairs and replacements. Track hardware assets, update inventory records, and manage hardware disposal and recycling processes in compliance with environmental regulations. Documentation and Reporting: Document hardware repairs, installations, and maintenance activities accurately in service logs, tickets, or maintenance records. Prepare reports and summaries of hardware-related issues, resolutions, and recommendations for management review. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Hardware Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Hardware Technician or in a similar technical support role. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, architecture, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with hardware diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and software utilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
