you will be the primary point of contact for customers visiting our service center. You will play a critical role in ensuring a positive customer experience by understanding their vehicle service needs, providing accurate information, and coordinating service appointments with our technicians. Responsibilities: Greet customers courteously as they arrive at the service center and inquire about their vehicle service requirements. Listen actively to customers' concerns, questions, and descriptions of vehicle issues, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and assessments to identify necessary repairs or maintenance services. Provide clear and detailed explanations of recommended services, including cost estimates and timeframes, to customers. Consult with customers to prioritize and schedule service appointments based on their needs, availability, and budget. Coordinate with service technicians and other staff to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and vehicle service history using the designated software/system. Follow up with customers to provide updates on service progress, obtain authorization for additional repairs if needed, and address any concerns. Upsell additional services, maintenance packages, or accessories based on customers' vehicle needs and manufacturer recommendations. Ensure the service center's facilities, equipment, and supplies are well-maintained and organized for optimal efficiency and safety. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive technology or customer service is preferred. Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive service or related industry. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and maintenance procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and effectively to customers. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with automotive service software/systems. Professional appearance and demeanor, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
