Job Description: As an Accounts Executive at [Insert Company Name], you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions, records, and reporting processes of the company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial data, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting decision-making processes. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Record financial transactions accurately and timely in the accounting system, ensuring proper coding and classification. Prepare and review invoices, bills, expense reports, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. Process payments to vendors, suppliers, and contractors in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, files, and documentation for audit and review purposes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is a plus. Proven experience in accounting roles, with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards, including Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and taxation laws. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax laws/regulations applicable to businesses in India. Integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information. Willingness to stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
