We are seeking an experienced Chinese Cook to join our culinary team in Thodupuzha. As a Chinese Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Chinese dishes to high standards of taste and presentation. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of Chinese culinary techniques and flavors, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes including stir-fries, noodles, soups, and rice dishes. Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with recipes, portion control standards, and quality standards. Coordinate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including proper storage of food, utensils, and equipment. Monitor food stock levels and place orders for ingredients as needed. Assist in menu planning and development, suggesting new dishes and variations to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques and safety procedures. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of perishable items. Requirements: Proven experience as a Chinese Cook or similar role, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes. Certification in food safety and sanitation practices is a plus. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
