As a South Indian Cook in Thodupuzha, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes in accordance with traditional recipes and standards. You will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest quality and served on time. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment and adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, rasam, chutneys, and curries, using traditional recipes and cooking techniques. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure that all ingredients are readily available for meal preparation. Monitor food stock levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed. Ensure that all food preparation and cooking processes adhere to health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to develop new dishes and menu items. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed. Maintain awareness of current food trends and industry developments. Assist with menu planning and costing as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
