Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Customer Service: Greet guests warmly upon delivery, verify order details, and offer assistance with any additional requests or inquiries. Provide recommendations and suggestions based on the menu offerings and guest preferences. Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction. Order Accuracy and Presentation: Double-check orders before delivery to ensure accuracy in items, quantities, and special requests. Ensure that food and beverage items are presented neatly and attractively, adhering to company standards for quality and presentation. Verify that all necessary utensils, condiments, and napkins are included with each order. Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times, including proper handling, storage, and transportation of food and beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the room service area, including service carts, trays, and equipment. Dispose of trash and waste in accordance with established procedures. Administrative Tasks: Record guest orders accurately in the system and ensure that all transactions are processed correctly. Handle cash, credit card payments, and room charge transactions securely and accurately. Reconcile cash and sales transactions at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to the supervisor. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in room service, food and beverage service, or hospitality is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
