Use fresh ingredients such as bread, meats, cheeses, vegetables, and condiments to assemble sandwiches. Follow recipes and portion sizes to maintain quality and minimize waste. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and take their orders in a courteous and efficient manner. Provide recommendations and suggestions based on customer preferences and inquiries. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests related to sandwich preparation with professionalism and attentiveness. Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handwashing, sanitation, and temperature control. Ensure that all food products are handled and stored safely to prevent contamination. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in the sandwich preparation area, including equipment and utensils. Inventory Management: Monitor sandwich ingredients inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor or manager. Rotate stock and properly store ingredients to ensure freshness and quality. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of sandwich ingredients as needed. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and efficient service. Qualifications and Skills: Prior experience as a Sandwich Maker, Deli Assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required.
