As a Tea Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving various types of tea to guests in a prompt and courteous manner. Responsibilities: Tea Preparation: Brew and prepare tea according to customer preferences, including different varieties such as black tea, green tea, herbal tea, and masala chai. Ensure that tea is brewed to the appropriate strength and temperature, adhering to established recipes and standards. Use quality tea leaves and ingredients to maintain the taste and aroma of the tea. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their preferred type of tea. Provide recommendations and suggestions based on customer preferences and inquiries. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests related to tea preparation with professionalism and courtesy. Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the tea preparation area, including tea pots, utensils, and work surfaces. Ensure that tea-making equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly to prevent contamination. Dispose of used tea leaves and waste in designated bins and keep the area tidy at all times. Inventory Management: Monitor tea inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed. Rotate tea stock to ensure freshness and quality, and properly store tea leaves in airtight containers. Report any inventory discrepancies or shortages to the supervisor or manager. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and efficient service. Communicate effectively with colleagues to relay customer preferences, special requests, and feedback. Qualifications and Skills: Prior experience as a Tea Maker or similar role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of different types of tea and tea preparation techniques. Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
