ob Title: Two Wheeler Mechanic Location: Alappuzha, Kerala, India Job Description: As a Two Wheeler Mechanic in Alappuzha, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of two-wheelers, including motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in two-wheelers using diagnostic tools and manual inspection techniques. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments. Repair or replace damaged components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems. Test ride vehicles to verify that repairs have been completed correctly and that they meet safety standards. Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and customer information. Provide cost estimates to customers for repairs and obtain authorization before beginning work. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of hazardous materials. Stay up-to-date on new technologies and advancements in two-wheeler mechanics through training and self-study. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs needed and provide guidance on vehicle maintenance. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs. Requirements: Proven experience as a two-wheeler mechanic, preferably in a busy workshop environment. Strong technical knowledge of two-wheeler systems and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and repair tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if test riding vehicles is required). Certification from a recognized automotive training program or institution is a plus.
