Job Description: The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for the company. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Business Development Executive will play a key role in expanding our customer base and achieving sales targets. Key responsibilities include: Conducting market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities within the Thiruvananthapuram region. Prospecting and acquiring new clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead generation techniques. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities. Developing and implementing strategic business development plans and initiatives to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth. Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to develop customized solutions, proposals, and presentations to meet client requirements. Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals and achieve sales targets. Providing regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management. Keeping abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and network with potential clients. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and excellent service delivery. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role, preferably in the [industry/sector] sector. Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and strategies, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
