As a Juice Maker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and beverages for customers in a fast-paced environment. Your role involves operating juice extraction equipment, blending fruits and vegetables, and serving refreshing drinks to guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and healthy beverages, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy juice bar or café setting. Key Responsibilities: Juice Preparation: Prepare a wide range of fresh juices, smoothies, shakes, and other beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Select and wash fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and cut, peel, and slice them as needed for juicing or blending. Operation of Equipment: Operate juice extractors, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently to extract juice, blend ingredients, and create smooth and consistent textures. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning. Recipe Development: Develop new juice and smoothie recipes based on seasonal ingredients, flavor combinations, and customer preferences. Experiment with different fruits, vegetables, herbs, and supplements to create innovative and appealing beverages. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations on juice selections and add-ons. Prepare and serve drinks promptly, ensuring high-quality presentation and customer satisfaction. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the juice bar area, including work surfaces, equipment, utensils, and serving areas. Follow food safety guidelines and hygiene practices to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of fruits, vegetables, juices, and other ingredients, and replenish supplies as needed. Keep track of expiration dates, rotate stock, and minimize waste to optimize inventory management. Qualifications and Skills: Prior experience as a juice maker, bartender, barista, or food service attendant in a café, juice bar, or restaurant is preferred but not required. Knowledge of fruit and vegetable varieties, flavor profiles, and nutritional benefits. Ability to operate juice extraction equipment, blenders, and other kitchen appliances safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests. Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing beverages. Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and perform repetitive tasks. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry. Additional Information: Training may be provided on juice preparation techniques, equipment operation, and customer service standards.
