As a Car Polishing Technician, you will be responsible for performing professional car polishing services to enhance the appearance and condition of vehicles in Kollam. This role involves conducting thorough inspections, identifying surface imperfections, and applying appropriate polishing techniques and products to achieve a high-quality finish. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive detailing, proficiency in polishing techniques, and a commitment to delivering superior customer service. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspection and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive visual inspections of vehicles to assess their exterior condition, including paintwork, scratches, swirl marks, and surface imperfections. Identify areas that require polishing, buffing, or paint correction to restore the vehicle's appearance and finish. Polishing and Buffing: Use professional polishing equipment, including dual-action polishers, rotary buffers, and polishing compounds, to remove defects and imperfections from the vehicle's paint surface. Perform paint correction procedures, such as compounding and polishing, to eliminate scratches, oxidation, and paint swirls effectively. Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare the vehicle's exterior surfaces before polishing, including washing, drying, and decontaminating the paintwork to remove dirt, grime, and contaminants. Mask off delicate or sensitive areas, such as trim pieces, rubber seals, and emblems, to protect them from damage during the polishing process. Product Selection and Application: Select appropriate polishing compounds, pads, and finishing products based on the type of paint, surface condition, and desired finish. Apply polishing products using correct techniques and procedures, ensuring even coverage and optimal results without causing damage to the paintwork. Quality Control and Finish Inspection: Inspect the vehicle's paintwork after polishing to ensure that all defects have been properly addressed, and the desired finish has been achieved. Touch up any remaining imperfections or blemishes and perform final finishing touches to enhance the overall appearance of the vehicle. Customer Service and Satisfaction: Interact with customers professionally and courteously, addressing any concerns, questions, or special requests related to the polishing service.
