As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and performance of our branch located in Kollam. You will lead a team, drive business growth, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold company policies and standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, sales acumen, and a deep understanding of financial products and services. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of employees, including sales staff, customer service representatives, and administrative personnel. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their performance and professional development. Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration. Business Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve branch targets for revenue, profitability, and customer acquisition. Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth, including expanding the customer base and increasing market share. Establish relationships with potential clients, key stakeholders, and business partners to drive sales and promote the branch's services. Customer Service and Relationship Management: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and efficient service, resolving customer complaints, and addressing their needs and inquiries. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to retain their business and encourage repeat transactions. Conduct regular customer feedback surveys and implement improvements based on feedback received. Financial Management: Monitor and manage the branch's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control. Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to assess the branch's performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to maximize revenue generation and minimize costs while maintaining quality standards. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards. Implement risk management procedures to mitigate potential risks and safeguard the branch's assets and reputation. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance protocols. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in banking, financial services, or related industry. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written. Sound knowledge of financial products, services, and industry regulations. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic decisions. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and banking software. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information: This position may require occasional travel within the region. Fluency in Malayalam and English is preferred. A valid driver's license may be required.
