We are looking for skilled Steel Fabricators to fabricate, assemble, and install steel structures and components according to project specifications and industry standards. The Steel Fabricator will play a crucial role in fabricating steel products, ensuring precision, quality, and durability in every aspect of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements and fabrication methods for steel structures and components. Cut, shape, and weld steel plates, beams, angles, and tubes using various tools and equipment, such as saws, drills, shears, and welding machines. Measure and mark steel materials for cutting, drilling, and machining, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dimensions. Fabricate steel frames, platforms, stairs, handrails, and other structural elements according to design specifications and engineering standards. Weld or join steel components using techniques such as MIG welding, TIG welding, arc welding, and oxy-fuel welding, ensuring strong and durable connections. Perform layout and assembly of steel components, including tack welding, fitting, and aligning parts to achieve proper fit and alignment. Install fabricated steel products on-site, following installation guidelines and safety protocols to ensure proper fit, alignment, and functionality. Perform quality checks and inspections on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations. Repair or modify steel structures and components as needed to correct defects or accommodate design changes. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition, following maintenance procedures and safety guidelines. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to plan and execute fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and hazards in the workplace, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep abreast of industry developments, new materials, and fabrication techniques to enhance skills and knowledge in steel fabrication. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Steel Fabricator or in a similar role, with a minimum of [insert number] years of experience in steel fabrication.
