We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team in Ernakulam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems. The AC Technician should have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigeration cycles. Responsibilities: Installation of AC Systems: Install various types of air conditioning units, including split systems, ducted systems, and window units. Ensure proper placement and alignment of components for optimal system performance. Connect electrical wiring and controls to ensure safe and efficient operation. Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance checks on AC systems to identify and address potential issues. Clean and replace air filters, coils, and other components to improve system efficiency. Check refrigerant levels and adjust as needed. Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in AC systems, such as faulty wiring, motors, compressors, and thermostats. Conduct troubleshooting to identify the root cause of system failures. Provide timely and effective solutions to restore system functionality. Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally and courteously. Communicate effectively to explain technical issues, repairs, and maintenance requirements. Provide recommendations for upgrades or improvements to enhance system performance. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Create service reports detailing work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance. Qualifications: Proven experience as an AC Technician or in a similar role. Diploma or certification in HVAC or a related field. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigeration cycles. Familiarity with various types of air conditioning units and their installation requirements. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment. Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and heights. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
