The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth for the company. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset for business expansion. Responsibilities: Identify and research potential clients, industries, and market segments to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration. Develop and implement strategic business development plans and initiatives to target new clients, generate leads, and expand the company's customer base. Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients through proactive outreach, networking, cold calling, email correspondence, and face-to-face meetings. Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal pitches to showcase company offerings, address client requirements, and secure new business opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer service, to develop tailored solutions, respond to client inquiries, and deliver value-added services. Negotiate sales contracts, agreements, and pricing terms with clients, and close sales deals to achieve revenue targets and meet business objectives. Track and manage sales pipeline, leads, and opportunities using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software or sales tracking tools, and provide regular updates and reports to management. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, and incorporate relevant insights into business development strategies and client engagements. Attend industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking forums to represent the company, promote brand awareness, and generate business leads and partnerships. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps in the market, assess market demand, and develop innovative strategies for market penetration and growth. Monitor client satisfaction, feedback, and retention rates, and address any issues or concerns promptly to ensure a positive client experience and long-term relationships. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all business development activities, and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field is preferred. Proven work experience as a Business Development Executive, Sales Representative, or similar role, with a successful track record in generating new business and achieving sales targets. Strong sales skills and a demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and driving revenue growth. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate value propositions, negotiate terms, and influence decision-makers at all levels. Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive business development strategies. Proactive and self-motivated, with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong networking abilities and the confidence to engage with potential clients, build rapport, and establish credibility through effective communication and relationship-building. Proficiency in using CRM software, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to manage sales activities, track progress, and generate reports. Fluency in Malayalam and English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage. Knowledge of local market conditions, business practices, and cultural nuances in Trivandrum or Kerala is preferred.
