Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and styles, and provide expert advice and guidance to clients on hair care maintenance and styling options. Use a variety of hairdressing tools and equipment, including scissors, razors, clippers, curling irons, and straightening irons, safely and effectively to create different hairstyles and textures. Apply hair color, highlights, and lowlights using appropriate techniques, formulations, and products, and ensure even coverage and natural-looking results. Perform hair treatments, such as deep conditioning, keratin treatments, and scalp massages, to improve hair health, strength, and manageability. Style hair for special occasions, weddings, parties, and events, and create customized looks to complement clients' facial features, attire, and personal style. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in work areas, including styling stations, equipment, and tools, and adhere to salon sanitation standards and regulations. Build and maintain relationships with clients, provide personalized service, and ensure their satisfaction with hair treatments and services. Promote salon products, hair care lines, and styling tools to clients, and offer product recommendations and demonstrations based on clients' hair care needs and preferences. Assist in scheduling appointments, managing client bookings, and maintaining accurate records of services provided and products sold. Collaborate with other salon staff, including receptionists, assistants, and other stylists, to coordinate client appointments, salon operations, and customer service efforts. Requirements: Certificate or diploma in Hairdressing, Cosmetology, or a related field from a recognized beauty school or training institute. Proven work experience as a Hair Stylist or Hairdresser in a salon, spa, or beauty center. Excellent technical skills and proficiency in a variety of hair cutting, styling, and coloring techniques. Strong knowledge of hair care products, treatments, and styling tools, and the ability to recommend suitable products and services to clients. Creativity, artistic flair, and attention to detail in creating hairstyles and recommending hair care solutions to clients.
