We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Malappuram. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards, and delivering projects within budget and on time. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to quality and excellence in construction. Responsibilities: Plan, design, and oversee construction projects, including roads, buildings, bridges, and other structures, from conception to completion. Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and schedules, and present them to clients, stakeholders, and management for approval. Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements, evaluate site conditions, and identify potential challenges or risks. Develop detailed engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met and design specifications are followed. Supervise construction activities, monitor progress, and inspect workmanship to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, and implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements as needed. Resolve technical issues, conflicts, and disputes that may arise during construction, and provide solutions and recommendations to ensure project success. Review and approve project deliverables, materials, and equipment, and coordinate procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery to the construction site. Conduct regular meetings with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and communicate project milestones and progress. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and legal requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation for internal use, client review, and regulatory approval. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree or additional certifications is a plus. Proven work experience as a Civil Engineer, preferably in construction project management or civil engineering consultancy. Strong technical knowledge and expertise in civil engineering principles, practices, and design standards. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar programs. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Problem-solving ability and analytical skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely. Attention to detail and accuracy in design calculations, drawings, and documentation. Professional engineering license (PE) or eligibility to obtain licensure is preferred. Fluency in Malayalam and English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in Malappuram or Kerala is preferred.
