The Car Washer will be responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to ensure they are spotless and presentable to customers. Responsibilities: Wash and clean vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs, using water, soap, and cleaning solutions to remove dirt, grime, and debris from the exterior surfaces. Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors, including carpets, floor mats, seats, and upholstery, to remove dust, dirt, stains, and odors. Scrub and polish vehicle exteriors, including windows, mirrors, wheels, rims, and chrome accents, to achieve a shiny, streak-free finish. Clean and degrease engine compartments, wheel wells, and undercarriages using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to remove grease, oil, and road debris. Apply wax, polish, and protective coatings to vehicle surfaces to enhance shine, protect against environmental damage, and prolong the life of the paint and finish. Inspect vehicles for damage, scratches, dents, or other imperfections, and report any issues to the supervisor or service manager for further assessment and repair. Use detailing tools and equipment, such as brushes, sponges, cloths, pressure washers, and steam cleaners, safely and effectively to achieve desired cleaning results. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the car wash bay, equipment storage areas, and service areas, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards. Assist customers with selecting appropriate car wash packages, explaining services and pricing, and providing recommendations for additional detailing or maintenance services. Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide receipts to customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of cash and credit card transactions. Follow established procedures for waste disposal, recycling, and environmental sustainability initiatives, and contribute to maintaining a clean, eco-friendly workplace. Collaborate with other car wash attendants, service technicians, and customer service representatives to coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements: No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience as a car washer, detailer, or automotive cleaner is advantageous but not required. Knowledge of vehicle cleaning techniques, detailing methods, and automotive care products. Physical stamina and endurance to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs. Integrity, reliability, and a positive attitude towards work and colleagues. Fluency in Malayalam; proficiency in English or other languages is an advantage.
