Job Description: As a Captain at our resort in Wayanad, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining areas while providing exemplary service to our guests. You will oversee the dining experience from start to finish, ensuring that guests receive attentive service and have a memorable culinary experience. Responsibilities: Guest Service: Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Provide menus, suggest specials, and take orders accurately and efficiently. Offer recommendations and answer questions regarding menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or special requests. Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff, ensuring smooth operation during service hours. Train new team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and POS systems. Motivate and inspire team members to deliver exceptional service and uphold the resort's standards of excellence. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment conducive to teamwork and professional growth. Operational Excellence: Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to hygiene standards. Oversee table turnover and seating assignments to optimize guest flow and maximize revenue. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining quality standards. Administration: Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stock control of beverages, utensils, and other dining supplies. Accurately process guest payments and reconcile cash transactions at the end of each shift.
