Food Preparation: Prepare shawarma meat by marinating, seasoning, and stacking it onto the vertical rotisserie. Ensure the meat is properly prepared and seasoned according to established recipes. Cooking and Grilling: Operate and monitor the shawarma grill or rotisserie, adjusting temperature and cooking times as needed. Ensure that the shawarma meat is cooked to perfection, maintaining its flavor and tenderness. Knife Skills: Use sharp knives to carve and slice shawarma meat as it cooks on the rotisserie. Maintain consistent thickness and presentation of shawarma slices. Sauce and Garnish Preparation: Prepare and assemble various sauces, dressings, and garnishes that accompany shawarma. Ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients. Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain the shawarma grill, knives, and other kitchen equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor. Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to strict hygiene and food safety standards, including proper handwashing and sanitation practices. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of work areas and utensils. Customer Service: Interact with customers, take orders, and provide information about shawarma menu items. Customize orders based on customer preferences. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of shawarma ingredients and supplies. Coordinate with the kitchen manager to place orders for replenishment. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in preparing and cooking shawarma or similar dishes is preferred.
