We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team in Coimbatore. The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing the financial transactions, records, and reporting of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve issues with vendors, customers, and internal departments as needed. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into the organization's financial performance and trends. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Monitor cash flow, prepare cash forecasts, and manage banking relationships to optimize liquidity and minimize risk. Assist with the preparation of tax returns, compliance filings, and regulatory reporting requirements. Collaborate with internal departments, auditors, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks and projects. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance. Provide support and assistance to the finance team and other departments as needed, including ad-hoc analysis and special projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
