Responsibilities: Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure that guests receive prompt and attentive service. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with courtesy and efficiency. Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the front-of-house staff, including waitstaff and host/hostess. Provide training and guidance to new team members. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment. Order Management: Oversee the order-taking process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery. Monitor the pace of service to maintain a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Table Management: Assign and manage table seating to optimize service efficiency. Ensure proper table setup and cleanliness. Monitor table turnover and assist in managing reservations. Quality Control: Ensure that food and beverages meet quality standards. Address any issues with food quality or service promptly. Conduct regular checks to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards. Upselling and Menu Knowledge: Encourage upselling of menu items and promotions. Stay informed about menu changes, specials, and ingredients. Provide recommendations and descriptions to guests. Handling Payments: Oversee the billing process and ensure accurate transactions. Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally. Adherence to Policies and Standards: Enforce restaurant policies and standards among the team. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
