you will be responsible for overseeing the dining area, managing the staff, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities: Guest Relations: Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant. Seat guests and assist them with menu recommendations. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously. Service Coordination: Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service. Oversee table settings and ensure they are clean and tidy. Monitor the cleanliness and maintenance of the dining area. Staff Supervision: Train, supervise, and motivate waitstaff to provide excellent service. Assign tasks and responsibilities to waitstaff during shifts. Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate specials and menu changes. Order Management: Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Ensure orders are delivered to the correct tables and meet quality standards. Handle billing and payments, including handling cash transactions. Upselling and Promotion: Recommend additional items to guests based on their preferences. Promote restaurant specials and events to guests. Encourage guests to provide feedback and reviews. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant.
