As a Business Development Executive in Trivandrum, your main responsibility is to identify potential business opportunities, establish and maintain relationships with clients, and drive revenue growth for the company. You will be required to engage in prospecting, lead generation, and sales activities to expand the customer base and meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities through various channels such as online research, networking events, and referrals. Lead Generation: Develop and implement lead generation strategies to acquire new customers and expand the customer base. This may include cold calling, email outreach, and attending industry events. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and requirements, and provide appropriate solutions to address them. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients. Clearly communicate the value proposition of products or services and address any questions or concerns they may have. Proposal Development: Develop proposals and quotations for potential clients. Negotiate terms and conditions, and close deals to achieve sales targets. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs. Use this information to tailor sales strategies and approaches. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure the alignment of sales efforts with business objectives. Pipeline Management: Manage and update sales pipelines and activities using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software. This includes tracking leads, follow-ups, and forecasting. Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from clients regarding their experience with products or services. Use this feedback to improve offerings and enhance customer satisfaction. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Continuously improve sales skills and knowledge through training and self-development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport and trust with clients. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets. Excellent negotiation and closing skills. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Adaptability and willingness to learn and adapt to changing market conditions.
