As a Floor Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations on the sales floor. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a customer-centric approach. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of creating a positive and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the sales team on the floor. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team meets sales targets and delivers exceptional customer service. Customer Service: Ensure that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. Foster a customer-friendly environment and lead by example in delivering excellent service. Sales Targets: Set sales targets for the team and monitor individual and collective performance. Implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals. Inventory Management: Monitor product levels on the sales floor and coordinate with the inventory team to restock as needed. Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies. Visual Merchandising: Ensure that the sales floor is visually appealing, with attractive displays and organized merchandise. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional displays and signage. Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Coordinate breaks and rotations to maintain an efficient and customer-focused atmosphere. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff. Keep the team informed about product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies. Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews for the sales team members. Provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement or additional training. Security and Safety: Ensure compliance with security and safety protocols on the sales floor. Address and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly. Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is a plus. Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in retail. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam. Customer Focus: Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience. Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Sales Skills: Understanding of sales techniques and the ability to drive sales targets. Computer Skills: Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
