As a Bodyshop Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the customer service aspect of the vehicle repair process within the bodyshop. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively between customers, technicians, and other departments. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, organized, and possess a thorough understanding of automotive repair processes. Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Greet customers and assess their vehicle repair needs. Communicate with customers to understand the extent of damage, insurance details, and obtain necessary approvals. Estimation: Collaborate with the bodyshop team to assess and estimate repair costs. Provide accurate and detailed repair cost breakdowns to customers and insurance companies. Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting promised deadlines. Coordinate with technicians, parts departments, and other relevant teams to ensure timely repairs. Communication: Keep customers informed about the progress of repairs, any additional work required, and estimated completion times. Provide clear explanations of technical issues and repair processes to customers. Quality Control: Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality standards are met before delivery to customers. Address any customer concerns or issues regarding the repair process. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, repair estimates, and approvals. Complete and submit insurance paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Customer Satisfaction: Strive to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing customer concerns promptly. Seek feedback from customers and use it to improve service delivery. Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Automotive-related certifications or coursework is a plus. Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology. Customer Service: Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
