We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage our store in Wayanad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using computerized or manual systems. Monitor stock levels and replenish as needed. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to place orders and track deliveries. Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and address issues promptly. Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Prepare and package items for shipping as needed. Implement and maintain proper storage techniques to avoid damage or spoilage. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Train and supervise junior staff members when necessary. Requirements: Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role. Knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures. Familiarity with computerized inventory systems (knowledge of Tally or similar software is a plus). Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or a related field is a plus. Physically able to lift and move heavy objects. Knowledge of local suppliers and vendors in Wayanad is preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
