Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Cherthala. The ideal candidate should possess strong pharmaceutical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. Responsibilities: Dispensing Medications: Accurately and efficiently dispense prescribed medications to patients or healthcare providers while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards. Patient Counseling: Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and precautions associated with prescribed medications. Medication Management: Monitor medication inventories, order medications and supplies as needed, and maintain accurate records of pharmaceutical transactions to ensure adequate stock levels. Quality Assurance: Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines to maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficacy in pharmaceutical services. Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other staff members, to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management. Health Promotion: Promote health and wellness initiatives by providing information on preventive healthcare measures, vaccinations, and over-the-counter (OTC) medications. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, resolving medication-related issues, and fostering positive relationships with patients and healthcare providers. Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences, drug therapy, and regulatory requirements through continuous learning and professional development activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution. Registered pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council of Kerala. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a pharmacist, preferably in a retail pharmacy or hospital setting. Strong understanding of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations. Proficiency in computer applications and pharmacy management software. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
