As a Solar Technician in Thiruvananthapuram (TVM), your primary responsibility will be to install, maintain, and repair solar energy systems, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated equipment. Below are the key responsibilities associated with this position: Installation: Installing solar panels, mounting hardware, inverters, batteries, and other components according to design specifications and industry standards. Ensuring proper placement, orientation, and alignment to maximize sunlight exposure and energy production. Electrical Wiring: Connecting solar panels, inverters, and other electrical components using appropriate wiring, cables, connectors, and junction boxes. Testing electrical connections for proper voltage, current, and polarity to ensure safety and performance. Commissioning: Commissioning newly installed solar energy systems by conducting system checks, tests, and performance evaluations. Verifying system functionality, monitoring output levels, and troubleshooting any issues to ensure optimal operation. Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning solar panels, inspecting electrical components, and checking for signs of wear or damage. Lubricating moving parts, tightening connections, and replacing faulty components as needed to prevent breakdowns and maximize system efficiency. Repair: Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, defects, or performance issues in solar energy systems through troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools. Replacing damaged or malfunctioning components such as inverters, charge controllers, or batteries to restore functionality.
