Job Description: 1. Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission various types of air conditioning systems, including split ACs, window ACs, central ACs, and ductless mini-split systems, according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Ensure proper placement, mounting, and connection of indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and control systems. 2. Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues in air conditioning systems, such as compressor failure, refrigerant leaks, fan motor malfunction, and thermostat problems. Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments of defective components, including compressors, condenser coils, evaporator coils, capacitors, and filters. 3. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance inspections of air conditioning systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Clean and lubricate moving parts, inspect electrical connections, check refrigerant levels, and calibrate thermostats as part of preventive maintenance routines. 4. Refrigerant Handling and Charging: Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly in compliance with environmental regulations and industry best practices. Charge air conditioning systems with the appropriate refrigerant type and quantity, following manufacturer specifications and recommended procedures. 5. Customer Service and Support: Interact with customers professionally and courteously, providing clear explanations of repair options, estimates, and recommendations. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction with services rendered. 6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and hours worked using service reports, work orders, and digital documentation tools. Provide detailed reports and recommendations to customers regarding the condition of their air conditioning systems and suggested repairs or upgrades. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology, HVAC/R, or related field. Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC Technician, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong technical skills and knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles, and electrical systems. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in air conditioning equipment. Valid HVAC technician license or certification (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to service delivery. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
