Job Description: 1. Chip-Level Diagnosis and Repair: Perform in-depth diagnostics and troubleshooting of electronic devices to identify and isolate hardware faults at the component level. Utilize schematic diagrams, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications to diagnose and repair faults in integrated circuits (ICs), microcontrollers, and other electronic components. 2. Component Replacement and Soldering: Replace defective or damaged electronic components, such as ICs, capacitors, resistors, transistors, and connectors, using soldering techniques and precision soldering equipment. Ensure proper handling, alignment, and placement of components on circuit boards to avoid damage and ensure electrical conductivity. 3. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct functional testing and performance testing of repaired devices to verify proper functionality, stability, and reliability. Perform stress testing, temperature testing, and voltage testing to ensure that repaired devices meet industry standards and specifications. 4. Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: Maintain and calibrate soldering stations, rework stations, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic and repair equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results. Clean and maintain workbenches, tools, and equipment to create a safe and efficient work environment. 5. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document repair procedures, component replacements, and test results accurately in repair logs, service tickets, and electronic databases. Keep detailed records of parts inventory, consumables usage, and repair history for reference and analysis. 6. Customer Interaction and Support: Interact with customers professionally and courteously, providing clear explanations of repair options, estimates, and timelines. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction with repair services rendered. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Electronics Engineering, Computer Hardware, or related field. Proven experience as a Chip-Level Technician or Electronics Repair Technician, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Expertise in diagnosing and repairing hardware faults in electronic devices at the component level, including soldering and desoldering techniques. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, electronic testing equipment, and soldering stations. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
