As part of our growing team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Technician to join us in delivering high-quality security solutions to our clients. Job Description: 1. CCTV System Installation: Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related equipment according to client specifications and project requirements. Mount cameras in strategic locations, run cables, and connect devices to establish a functional surveillance network. 2. System Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing of CCTV systems to ensure proper functionality, image clarity, and recording capabilities. Configure system settings, including camera angles, resolution, motion detection, and remote access features, as per client preferences. 3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance checks on CCTV systems, including cleaning lenses, checking connections, and updating firmware/software. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with CCTV equipment, such as camera malfunctions, recording errors, and network connectivity problems. 4. System Upgrades and Expansions: Upgrade existing CCTV systems with new cameras, DVRs/NVRs, or software updates to improve performance and functionality. Expand surveillance coverage by adding additional cameras or integrating new technology solutions as per client requirements. 5. Client Training and Support: Provide training to clients on how to use and manage CCTV systems effectively, including accessing live feeds, reviewing recordings, and adjusting settings. Offer technical support and assistance to clients remotely or onsite to address any issues or concerns with their CCTV systems. 6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of CCTV installations, service calls, repairs, and equipment inventory using digital documentation systems. Prepare detailed reports and service logs for clients and management, documenting work performed and recommendations for future improvements. Requirements: Diploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong technical skills and knowledge of CCTV systems, including analog and IP cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and networking principles. Proficiency in using testing equipment, hand and power tools, and cable installation techniques. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
