Installation and Commissioning: Install new refrigeration systems, including residential refrigerators, commercial freezers, and industrial cold storage units, ensuring proper placement, connection, and functionality. Commission newly installed systems, performing startup procedures, system checks, and adjustments to optimize performance. 2. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration systems to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. Clean coils, replace filters, check refrigerant levels, and lubricate moving parts as part of scheduled maintenance routines. 3. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose malfunctions in refrigeration systems, including problems with cooling performance, temperature control, defrost cycles, and electrical components. Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes of issues and develop effective repair solutions. 4. Repairs and Replacements: Perform repairs or replacements of faulty components or parts, such as compressors, condenser coils, evaporator fans, defrost heaters, and temperature controls. Ensure all repair work is conducted safely, accurately, and in compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. 5. Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly, including recovery, recycling, and recharging procedures in accordance with environmental regulations. Maintain accurate records of refrigerant usage, leak tests, and disposal activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements. 6. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing explanations of services performed, recommendations for system maintenance, and estimates for repairs or replacements. Address customer concerns or inquiries promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction with services rendered. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; vocational training or certification in refrigeration technology preferred. Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or HVAC service technician, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong technical skills and knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using tools and equipment common to refrigeration repair work. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
