AC System Installation: Install new air conditioning systems, including split AC units, central air systems, and ductless mini-split systems, following manufacturer instructions and industry standards. Perform proper sizing, placement, and configuration of equipment to optimize performance and efficiency. 2. Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections of air conditioning systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency. Clean and replace air filters, inspect ductwork, and lubricate moving parts as part of preventive maintenance routines. 3. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in air conditioning systems, including issues with cooling performance, airflow, and electrical components. Perform repairs or replacements of faulty parts, such as compressors, condenser coils, capacitors, and thermostats. 4. Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly, including proper storage, handling, and disposal in accordance with environmental regulations. Perform refrigerant recovery, recycling, and recharging procedures as needed during installation, maintenance, or repair tasks. 5. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing explanations of services performed, recommendations for system improvements, and estimates for repairs or replacements. Address customer concerns or inquiries promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction with services rendered. 6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of service calls, work performed, parts used, and hours worked using service reports or work order forms. Provide detailed reports and recommendations to supervisors or customers regarding the condition of HVAC systems and any necessary repairs or upgrades. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; vocational training or certification in HVAC technology preferred. Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC service technician, with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong technical skills and knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using tools and equipment common to HVAC installation and repair work. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
