As part of our kitchen team, we are currently seeking a diligent and reliable Dishwasher to help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen. Job Description: 1. Dishwashing and Sanitization: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils using dishwashing equipment or by hand. Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned, rinsed, and sanitized according to food safety and hygiene standards. 2. Kitchen Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including dishwashing machines, sinks, and counters, to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness. Follow proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas. 3. Garbage and Recycling Management: Dispose of kitchen waste, garbage, and recycling materials in designated bins or containers, following waste management guidelines and procedures. Monitor garbage levels and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely disposal and sanitation of waste receptacles. 4. Organization and Stock Management: Organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies in designated areas for easy access and efficient workflow. Monitor inventory levels of dishwashing detergents, sanitizers, and cleaning supplies, and notify management when replenishment is needed. 5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain cleanliness standards. 6. Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals, use of protective equipment, and safe operation of kitchen machinery. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to management promptly for resolution. Requirements: Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen support role preferred but not required. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Physical stamina and agility to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
