Customer Service: Greet customers warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus. Provide attentive and courteous service to guests throughout their dining experience, addressing any inquiries or special requests promptly and professionally. 2. Order Taking: Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers, ensuring clarity and completeness. Communicate orders promptly and accurately to the kitchen and bar staff, following established procedures and timing standards. 3. Food and Beverage Presentation: Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, adhering to presentation standards and quality expectations. Monitor tableware and glassware levels, replenishing as needed to maintain a clean and organized dining environment. 4. Upselling and Recommending: Suggest appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages based on customer preferences and menu offerings. Upsell additional items or specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales revenue. 5. Payment Processing: Present bills to customers accurately, clearly explaining charges and options for payment. Process payments through cash, credit/debit cards, or digital payment methods, handling transactions with integrity and confidentiality. 6. Table Maintenance: Clear tables of used dishes, utensils, and glassware promptly, ensuring efficient turnover for incoming guests. Reset tables with clean linens, tableware, and condiments, maintaining a neat and inviting dining area at all times. Requirements: Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar staff. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Knowledge of food and beverage items, menu descriptions, and basic culinary terminology is an advantage. Physical stamina and agility to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
