As part of our technical team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CCTV systems efficiently and effectively. Job Description: 1. CCTV System Installation: Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and other surveillance equipment at client sites, following installation guidelines, wiring diagrams, and system specifications. Mount cameras, run cables, and connect power sources, ensuring proper positioning, alignment, and coverage for optimal surveillance and security monitoring. 2. System Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with CCTV systems, including camera malfunctions, video loss, connectivity issues, and recording/playback problems. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning camera lenses, checking cable connections, and updating firmware/software, to ensure the reliability and performance of CCTV systems. 3. System Configuration and Integration: Configure camera settings, recording parameters, motion detection, and video analytics features based on client requirements and site conditions. Integrate CCTV systems with other security systems, such as access control systems, alarm systems, and remote monitoring platforms, to provide comprehensive security solutions. 4. Customer Training and Support: Provide training and instruction to clients on how to use and operate CCTV systems effectively, including basic system navigation, camera controls, and software features. Offer technical support and assistance to clients remotely or onsite, responding to service calls, troubleshooting issues, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 5. Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct quality checks and system testing on newly installed or upgraded CCTV systems, verifying functionality, video quality, and system performance according to industry standards and client specifications. Document test results, system configurations, and service activities accurately in service reports and project documentation for record-keeping and reference purposes. 6. Compliance and Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards for CCTV installation and maintenance activities, prioritizing safety and security for clients and technicians. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices for equipment handling, tool usage, and workplace safety to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. Requirements: Diploma or vocational certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. Proven work experience as a CCTV Technician, Security Technician, or similar role, with hands-on experience in CCTV installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance equipment, and security technology, including analog and IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and network configurations. Familiarity with CCTV software, video management systems (VMS), and remote viewing applications for monitoring and managing CCTV systems. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, cable testers, and network diagnostic tools for installation and troubleshooting tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment. Customer service-oriented attitude, with strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and vendors. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites for onsite installation and service calls as needed.
