As part of our team, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee our operations. Job Description: 1. Store Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the shop, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards to maintain efficient and organized store operations. 2. Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate shop staff, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a positive and productive work environment. Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, assigning duties, setting expectations, and monitoring performance to achieve sales targets and customer service goals. 3. Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, greeting and assisting customers, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Train staff on customer service best practices, product knowledge, and sales techniques to enhance the overall customer experience and build customer loyalty. 4. Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop and implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns to drive foot traffic, increase sales, and maximize revenue generation in the shop. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and product promotions to achieve sales targets and meet financial objectives. 5. Merchandising and Visual Display: Plan and execute merchandising strategies, product displays, and store layouts to optimize product visibility, presentation, and sales potential. Ensure effective stock replenishment, product rotation, and inventory control to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize stock shrinkage or losses. 6. Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff and customers, adhering to occupational health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and security protocols. Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and emergency drills, addressing any safety concerns or hazards promptly and appropriately. 7. Administrative Duties and Reporting: Manage administrative tasks, such as payroll processing, staff scheduling, inventory tracking, and sales reporting, utilizing relevant software and systems effectively. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, customer feedback, and operational issues, providing insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred. Proven experience in retail management or supervisory role, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of employees. Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving sales, managing costs, and optimizing profitability. Knowledge of retail merchandising principles, inventory management techniques, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the needs of the business. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office applications and retail management software.
