Coordinate with architects, interior designers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any on-site issues or challenges. 2. Construction Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of skilled and unskilled workers, including carpenters, painters, electricians, and laborers, to ensure proper coordination and efficient utilization of resources. Monitor daily progress, workmanship, and productivity levels, providing guidance, training, and support to workers as needed to maintain project schedule and quality standards. 3. Quality Assurance and Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of construction work, materials, and installations to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Identify and address any deviations, defects, or deficiencies promptly, implementing corrective measures and quality improvement initiatives as necessary. 4. Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices on the construction site to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions for workers and subcontractors, emphasizing the importance of safety awareness and compliance. 5. Material Management and Inventory Control: Monitor material deliveries, usage, and wastage on the construction site, ensuring optimal inventory levels, cost control, and efficient utilization of resources. Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issuances, and stock levels, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to replenish supplies as needed. 6. Client Communication and Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders regarding on-site construction progress, updates, and issues resolution. Provide regular project status reports, progress updates, and milestone achievements to clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally. 7. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily progress reports, site inspection reports, work logs, and as-built drawings, for record-keeping and project archives. Compile and submit periodic progress reports, variance analysis, and project summaries to management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations. Requirements: Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Proven experience as a site supervisor, construction foreman, or related role, with a strong background in interior fit-out works, finishing works, and site management. Sound knowledge of construction techniques, building materials, and interior finishes, with the ability to interpret design drawings, specifications, and architectural plans. Leadership skills, team management abilities, and effective communication skills to coordinate and motivate on-site teams and subcontractors. Strong problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and attention to detail, with the ability to resolve issues and conflicts effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
