We specialize in body repair, painting, and restoration services for vehicles. As part of our team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Denter to join us. Job Description: 1. Vehicle Inspection and Damage Assessment: Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage and identify areas requiring repair or replacement. Evaluate vehicle bodywork, panels, frames, and structural components for alignment, integrity, and safety. 2. Dent Repair and Restoration: Perform dent repair and restoration tasks using appropriate tools, equipment, and techniques, such as dent pullers, hammers, and body fillers. Straighten, reshape, and smooth damaged panels and surfaces to restore them to their original condition. 3. Panel Replacement and Fabrication: Remove and replace damaged panels, fenders, bumpers, and other body components as needed. Fabricate or modify panels and parts to match vehicle specifications and repair requirements. 4. Welding and Metalwork: Perform welding, soldering, and metalworking tasks to repair or reinforce vehicle body structures and components. Ensure proper welding techniques, joint integrity, and metal finishing to maintain structural strength and durability. 5. Surface Preparation and Finishing: Prepare repaired surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and smoothing imperfections. Mask and protect surrounding areas from overspray and contamination during the painting process. 6. Quality Assurance and Safety Compliance: Conduct quality checks and inspections on completed repairs to ensure alignment with industry standards and customer expectations. Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines while performing repair and restoration tasks, minimizing risks of injury or damage. 7. Team Collaboration and Customer Service: Collaborate with other team members, including painters, technicians, and service advisors, to coordinate repair activities and ensure efficient workflow. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and expectations regarding vehicle repairs and restoration. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive body repair preferred. Proven experience as a denter or panel beater, with a strong understanding of automotive bodywork, repair techniques, and materials. Proficiency in using denter's tools and equipment, including dent pullers, hammers, grinders, and welding machines. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination for precise and accurate dent repair and restoration. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
