Job Description: 1. Installation and Fitting: Fit and install a variety of accessories on vehicles, including but not limited to, audio systems, navigation systems, seat covers, lighting kits, roof racks, and window tints. Ensure proper alignment, positioning, and attachment of accessories according to manufacturer specifications and customer preferences. 2. Customization and Modification: Customize accessories to meet customer requirements and preferences, such as modifying seat covers for a perfect fit or adjusting lighting kits for optimal visibility. Perform minor modifications and adjustments to vehicle components as needed to accommodate accessory installation. 3. Electrical and Wiring Work: Connect and wire electrical accessories, such as audio systems, speakers, lighting kits, and security alarms, to the vehicle's electrical system. Ensure proper insulation, routing, and termination of wiring to prevent electrical shorts, malfunctions, or damage to the vehicle. 4. Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct thorough quality checks and testing procedures on installed accessories to ensure functionality, performance, and durability. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions identified during testing, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed. 5. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and preferences regarding accessory installation and customization. Offer recommendations and advice to customers on accessory options, features, and compatibility with their vehicles. 6. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines while performing accessory fitting and installation tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all accessory fitting and installation activities. 7. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of installed accessories, including product details, installation procedures, and customer preferences. Document any modifications, adjustments, or repairs made during the fitting process for future reference and warranty purposes. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive mechanics or accessory fitting preferred. Proven experience as an accessories fitter or automotive technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle accessories, installation techniques, and wiring principles. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for accessory fitting and installation tasks. Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
