We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Housekeeper to join our team in Kottayam. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests or residents. Your primary duties will include cleaning guest rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces according to established standards. Responsibilities: Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms. Ensure all areas are stocked with amenities such as toiletries, linens, and towels. Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, and dining areas. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces in accordance with established procedures. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of equipment and supplies used in housekeeping duties. Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor or maintenance team. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations at all times. Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens. Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints and ensure their needs are met to the best of your ability. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning operations. Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues. Requirements: Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness. Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is an advantage. Must be legally eligible to work in India.
