We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electronic Technician to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The Electronic Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic equipment and systems to ensure their optimal performance and functionality. Responsibilities: Installation and Setup: Install and set up electronic equipment, systems, and components according to specifications and technical requirements. This may include audio-visual equipment, surveillance systems, communication devices, and industrial control systems. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot electronic equipment issues. Repair or replace defective components, modules, or parts to restore equipment to proper working condition. Calibration and Testing: Calibrate electronic instruments and devices to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements and readings. Conduct functional tests and performance evaluations to verify proper operation and compliance with standards. Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, customers, and internal staff members. Respond to service requests, troubleshoot problems, and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Document work performed, parts used, and service procedures followed. Prepare service reports, work orders, and other documentation as required. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards when working with electronic equipment and systems. Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, electrical components, and sensitive electronic devices. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of electronic components, parts, and supplies. Order replacement parts and maintain stock levels to ensure availability for repair and maintenance tasks. Training and Development: Stay updated on advances in electronic technology, equipment, and industry trends. Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Electronic Technician or in a similar role. Strong technical skills in electronics troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools. Knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and systems. Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations for working with electricity and electronics. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
