Customer Service: Greet customers warmly as they approach the cashier counter and assist them with their purchases. Answer customer inquiries, provide product information, and address any concerns or complaints in a courteous and professional manner. Order Processing: Assist customers with placing orders, processing returns or exchanges, and handling special requests or inquiries. Verify product availability, pricing, and discounts to ensure accurate order processing. Cash Management: Maintain proper cash handling procedures and security protocols to safeguard cash and minimize the risk of theft or loss. Prepare daily cash reports, reconcile cash drawers, and deposit cash receipts at the end of each shift. Inventory Control: Monitor and track inventory levels of cashiers' stations, including coins, currency, and petty cash. Request replenishment of cash floats as needed to ensure adequate funds for daily operations. Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the cashier counter area clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Ensure that cashier equipment, such as cash registers, scanners, and card readers, are in good working condition. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting. Strong numerical aptitude and basic math skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently. Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
