We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Two-Wheeler Mechanic to join our team in Kalpetta. The Two-Wheeler Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles and scooters to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Diagnosis and Repair: Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical problems in motorcycles and scooters. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems. Maintenance Services: Perform routine maintenance services on motorcycles and scooters, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Check fluid levels, tire pressure, and other vital systems to ensure safe and reliable operation. Tune-Ups and Adjustments: Perform tune-ups and adjustments to optimize engine performance, fuel efficiency, and overall vehicle operation. Adjust carburetors, ignition timing, valve clearances, and other engine components as needed. Parts Replacement: Replace worn or damaged parts with new or refurbished components. Install aftermarket accessories, upgrades, or modifications according to customer preferences and specifications. Safety Inspections: Conduct safety inspections and road tests to verify vehicle functionality and compliance with safety standards. Identify and address any safety hazards or concerns to prevent accidents and injuries. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the repair process. Explain repair procedures, findings, and recommendations to customers in a clear and professional manner. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and courteously. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts used using computerized systems or manual logs. Document work performed, parts replaced, and labor hours for billing, warranty, and reference purposes. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Technical diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or a related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Two-Wheeler Mechanic or in a similar role, preferably in a motorcycle or scooter dealership or repair shop. Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills. Knowledge of two-wheeler systems, components, and repair techniques. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
