We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team in Palakkad. The Driver will be responsible for transporting passengers and goods safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Responsibilities: Vehicle Operation: Operate company vehicles, including cars, vans, or trucks, as assigned. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times. Transportation Services: Provide transportation services to passengers, clients, or employees as needed. Safely transport passengers to their destinations using the most efficient routes. Goods Delivery: Transport goods, packages, or materials to designated locations. Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods while following delivery schedules and instructions. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while operating the vehicle. Maintain a clean driving record and comply with company policies and procedures. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers, clients, or customers. Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or packages as needed. Ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for passengers during transportation. Route Planning: Plan and organize transportation routes to optimize efficiency and minimize travel time. Familiarize yourself with local roads, landmarks, and traffic patterns to navigate effectively. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities. Complete required paperwork, such as trip logs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation. Requirements: Valid driver's license issued by the Regional Transport Office (RTO). Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial or transportation setting. Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations. Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations in Palakkad. Excellent driving skills and awareness of safety practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
