We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our cleaning team in Alappuzha. The Cleaning Staff will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facilities to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and customers. Responsibilities: General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, carpets, and furniture. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established protocols. Surface Disinfection: Use appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants to sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handles, light switches, and countertops. Follow safety guidelines and usage instructions for cleaning chemicals. Waste Management: Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials in designated containers or disposal areas. Segregate recyclable and non-recyclable waste according to recycling policies and local regulations. Restocking Supplies: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumables. Restock supplies as needed and notify supervisors of low stock or supply shortages. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning carts. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to supervisors for timely repairs or replacements. Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, and exposure to hazardous materials. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and goggles as required. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with fellow cleaning staff and supervisors to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of assigned areas. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any concerns or issues. Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to cleaning standards, regulations, and guidelines set forth by health authorities, regulatory agencies, and company policies. Maintain cleanliness certifications and training as required. Requirements: No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent is a plus. Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping roles is preferred but not required. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of safety procedures and practices is a plus.
